EZ Blockchain is Nominated for the Chicago Innovation Award of 2022
The Chicago Innovation Award was created in 2002 by the Chicago Sun-Times and Kuczmarski and Associates with a mission to empower the Chicago Innovation Ecosystem. The award acknowledges 10 Chicago-area businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations that come up with the year’s most innovative new products or services.
The award 21st Chicago Innovation Awards is slated for the 16th of November 2022 at Morgan Manufacturing from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm. It will be an opportunity for people to come together, share ideas, build relationships with Chicago region innovators, and share Chicago’s innovation success with the world.
Award winners will collectively participate in the ceremonial ringing of the closing NASDAQ bell in New York City and meet with the Mayor to discuss how the city can accelerate the efforts of Chicago innovators. Chicago Innovation will also facilitate a meeting with the Governor for the winners to present their innovations to state leaders and discuss how to advance innovation. Finally, the Innovation will establish a conversation between President Preckwinkle and the winners to connect their innovation and the county’s needs.
EZ Blockchain has been committed to utilizing Bitcoin mining high-density computing as a tool to resolve the wasted energy problem, and has been part of the Chicago community since 2017. We are the pioneers of gas flaring with a smart grid solution that converts gas flares into electricity for Bitcoin mining on site. We also work with oil and gas companies to solve the stranded natural gas problem with crypto mining. Our innovations include a mobile data center infrastructure, stranded gas to Bitcoin, flared gas to Bitcoin, grid balancing, and immersion cooling.
